Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer based in Dubai. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, preparing requests for quotation (RFQs), and ensuring cost‑effective purchasing aligned with project requirements. The individual will collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain efficient procurement operations while adhering to project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in procurement & purchasing within major contracting/construction companies in the UAE/GCC
- Strong experience in high‑rise towers, residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments
- Excellent knowledge of UAE/Dubai suppliers, subcontractors, construction materials, and market pricing
- Proven expertise in procurement strategy, tendering, commercial negotiations, supply chain management, and cost optimization
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- CIPS/PMP certifications are an advantage
- Lead procurement and purchasing activities for the projects
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project and company objectives
- Manage supplier/subcontractor sourcing, negotiations, and commercial agreements
- Ensure timely procurement in line with project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with engineering, commercial, finance, and construction teams
- Establish strong supplier relationships and optimize procurement performance
