To handle day‑to‑day site inspections and quality control for all mechanical installations: HVAC, chilled water, plumbing and drainage, ensuring everything matches project drawings and gets approved by the consultant.
Responsibilities- Site inspections
- Prepare, submit and raise Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) to obtain consultant approvals
- Issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) for incorrect site works and follow up to ensure they are corrected and closed out
- Inspect incoming site materials against approved material submittals and approve Goods Received Notes (GRNs)
- Coordinate with subcontractors to witness pressure testing, ductwork checks and equipment commissioning
- Keep accurate, up‑to‑date daily logs of all inspections, NCRs and site approvals
- Collect and organize final close‑out documents such as O&M manuals, spare parts lists and warranties for project handover
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical construction projects
- Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in the UAE handling building or villa projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water piping, ductwork and plumbing systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel)
- Clear communication skills to interact directly with consultants, main contractors and site teams
