Draftsman Cad operator piling and shoring works

Responsibilities

• Drafting Shop Drawings Prepare high-precision piling layout plans showing coordinates numbering and cut-off levels and shoring designs secant, contiguous, soldier pile and sheet pile walls.
• Structural Detailing Create detailed reinforcement drawings, steel cage fabrication schedules and layouts for lateral support systems struts, wale beams and ground anchors.
• Clash Detection Utility Check Overlay shoring and foundation layouts with existing site utilities and main structures to identify and resolve clashes before construction begins.
• Coordinate Extraction Generate accurate setting-out coordinate tables North East for site surveying teams.
• As-Built Documentation Update design drawings based on field modifications, actual bored depths, and surveyor feedback to create final As-Built records.
• Document Control Manage the drawing register tracking all revisions Rev 0, 1, 2 to ensure site teams always utilize the latest approved versions.

• Education Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Experience Minimum of [Insert Number, e.g., 3–5] years of experience exclusively drafting deep foundation, piling, and shoring works.
• Software Mastery Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) is mandatory. Experience with Autodesk Revit (BIM) and Civil 3D is highly advantageous.
• Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of soil retention systems, structural rebar detailing, and structural steel sections.
• Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet tight project deadlines.
