Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all technical activities related to civil and architectural construction projects
- Review and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documentation
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, building codes and quality standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors and planning teams
- Lead design coordination meetings and monitor design changes, RFIs and technical clarifications
- Review architectural and structural drawings to identify and resolve conflicts before construction
- Monitor project progress from a technical perspective and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Evaluate construction methodologies and value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs and timelines
- Ensure proper implementation of approved architectural finishes, materials and construction techniques
- Support tendering and pre-construction activities by reviewing technical requirements and project specifications
- Liaise with authorities, consultants and clients for approvals and technical submissions
- Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are updated and compliant with company procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil construction projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural construction practices
- Experience in managing high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera P6, and other construction management software
- Excellent understanding of UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and building codes
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
