Project Planning Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of tender programmes as per the tender documents requirement.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for preparation of detailed programmes as per contract requirements.
• Propose the productivity sheet for the project.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for calculating the manpower requirements trade-wise as per the defined productivity.
• Prepare a weight system.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for loading the manpower major quantities, weightage and cost over the activities of the programme of work as required.
• Estimate the project's cash flow.
• Prepare the project's measurement tools such as S-curve, tabular reports, histograms and other KPIs.
• Highlight the critical paths and take the necessary actions in coordination with other project key staff.
• Ensure that QHSE requirements are integrated into the programmes.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for preparation of internal programme of works if required.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for issuing the subcontractor programmes in coordination with procurement engineers.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for preparing internal planning reports.
• Highlight the critical longest path to the Planning Manager on a weekly basis before issuance of the weekly/monthly report.
• Highlight the area of concerns to the Planning Manager on a weekly basis before issuance of the weekly/monthly report.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for forecasting future problems and inform the Planning Manager to take necessary actions.
• Monitor manpower and equipment to ensure they are correct as per project site conditions.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for updating the project's cash flow.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for preparing planning-related correspondences to the client engineer, sub-consultant, subcontractors and other parties.
• Attend required meetings.
• Attend required audits.
• Prepare notices for EoT.
• Coordinate with the Sr Planner for preparation of EoT claims.
