Land Surveyor

The Land Surveyor/Digital Surveyor/Building Surveyor role involves capturing highly accurate spatial data for large-scale survey projects across the UAE and wider GCC region using industry-leading hardware and proprietary software. This position is heavily field-based and suited to experienced surveyors with strong land surveying and LiDAR expertise who are comfortable operating in demanding project environments.

The role includes on-site data capture, survey coordination, data processing, and production of deliverables across both Stak and Strat projects. The successful candidate will represent the DRC brand professionally on client sites, work closely with project teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-volume survey operations.

This is initially a freelance/contract-based opportunity with the potential for longer-term engagement based on project requirements.

• Capture highly accurate spatial and survey data using Leica laser scanning equipment, including BLK2GO, BLK
  360, RTC, GPS, Total Station, and Laser Disto devices.
• Conduct land and building surveys independently across active project sites.
• Operate LiDAR scanning equipment confidently and demonstrate a strong understanding of point cloud data capture and management.
• Process raw survey data into usable digital formats using industry-standard software.
• Produce accurate survey deliverables, including measured survey floor plans and spatial outputs.
• Support Strat site surveys and spatial data collection activities across multiple project locations.
• Work closely with project managers, survey teams, and operations staff to ensure successful project delivery within required timelines.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure all tools are used safely, correctly, and professionally.
• Represent the company professionally during all client-facing interactions and on-site engagements.
• Be flexible with working hours and site schedules depending on operational and client requirements.
• Support project delivery across the UAE and wider GCC region as required.

• Proven experience in land surveying and/or digital surveying environments.
• Strong LiDAR experience and solid understanding of point cloud data workflows.
• Experience using Leica laser scanning equipment, including BLK2GO, BLK
  360, and RTC models.
• Experience using GPS, Total Station, and related survey equipment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and survey data processing software such as Cyclone.
• Experience producing accurate measured survey outputs and floor plans.
• Confident working independently on-site in fast-paced project environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Valid driving licence is essential.
• Must currently be based in or able to work within the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or wider GCC region.
• Available to travel and work on-site for extended periods where required.
• Comfortable working extended hours and overtime where project demands require it.
• Ability to start from 08 June 2026 preferred.
