Technical Design Engineer – Cable Manufacturing
We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Design Engineer with strong expertise in cable design, technical calculations, and manufacturing support within the cable manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design standard and special cables as per customer requirements and international standards
- Prepare technical designs and drawings using AutoCAD
- Perform electrical and mechanical calculations for cable design
- Support competitive tendering with a cost-effective technical solution
- Coordinate with internal teams on product development and manufacturing requirements
- Create and maintain technical designs in the SAP/ERP system
- Support new product and material development initiative
- Review and schedule production approvals for the first-time manufacturing item
- Train and guide junior staff on cable design and SAP processes
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in cable testing/design within the cable manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP/ERP systems
- Good understanding of cable manufacturing processes and international specifications
- Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills
