Responsibilities
- Develop detailed MEP models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects and structural engineers to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design and address potential conflicts early.
- Conduct clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts between MEP systems and other building elements, minimizing rework and delays.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications, to support project coordination and execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in MEP principles.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience in MEP BIM modeling, demonstrating a strong understanding of building systems and their integration.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, showcasing technical skills necessary for effective model creation.
- Familiarity with industry standards like ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building codes, ensuring compliance in all modeling tasks.
