Responsibilities
- Monitor, coordinate and supervise the site activities for ELV systems such as Fire Alarm System (FAS), VESDA, PAVA, CBS, and CMS.
- Ensure installations are performed according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and the company QHSE policy.
- Prepare, submit, and attend inspections of WIRs, MIRs with QC consultants.
- Submit daily and weekly progress reports to superiors.
- Distribute day‑to‑day labor according to open work fronts in coordination with site supervisors, in‑charges and foremen.
- Attend Civil Defence inspections.
- Attend site meetings with clients together with superiors.
- Monitor material stock at sites and initiate material requests.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities, providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.
- Undertake testing and commissioning activities in line with specified site requirements.
- Monitor progress, record all test results, witness final testing and acceptance of equipment, and compile all documentation for inclusion in site tests and handover.
- Ensure safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to meet required system plant performance in accordance with project programme requirements and specifications.
- Conduct client training on the systems at the project location for handover and closure.
- Maintain accurate project records and monitor equipment performance, notifying engineers of recurring problems.
- Monitor performance of existing electronic systems, identify potential issues and modifications in design, and report technical matters to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate material management for projects with leaders and within the organization to ensure smooth workflow and execution of assigned projects.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of ELV systems such as FAS, VESDA, PAVA, CBS, and CMS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
