Summary
Responsible for overlooking projects completion as per Company requirements and supporting the immediate Supervisor as and when required.
Responsibilities- Awareness of the Company Work Values, Quality Policy Statement, HSE Policy Statement and all project related safety aspects.
- Ensure progress of work is achieved through safety standards and quality requirements.
- Adhere to site rules and regulations.
- Ensure that the project mobilization plan is executed as planned.
- Obtain all permits for accessing the site from the authorities in coordination with our technical design team, design team and the PRO engineers.
- Create baseline program with the assistance of a planning department and issue to all the relevant stakeholders of the project.
- Create detailed procurement schedule after the project kick off meeting and forward the same to the procurement department.
- Monitor progress and ensure that the project programme is updated accordingly.
- Ensure that all long lead and project specified material are ordered in a timely manner.
- Raise, maintain and issue and record RFIs, CVIs and variations identified at site.
- Assist the post contract team with valuation detail and client payment demand.
- Study project contract documents.
- Ensure a weekly progress report is sent to the client in the agreed format with progress pictures included.
- Contract notices required (if any) are sent to the client, subcontractors and suppliers with the assistance of the contract department.
- Provide daily weekly task breakdown to the team for carrying out the works at site.
- Study labor output registers and take corrective steps to enhance productivity.
- Ensure that the necessary technical information is conveyed clearly to the assistants and details produced where required – shop drawings, sketches, etc.
- Markup any deviations to the tender drawings and issue to technical design team in liaison with the line manager.
- Report to the line manager on the site progress and issues being faced at site.
- Taking of quantities as and when required.
- Monitor and record all submissions are made to client and approvals received from client with the assistance of the setter out department.
- Ensure the issuance of the O M manuals to the client, landlord and FM team.
- Awareness and effective handling of internal and external client complaints.
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders (internal, external) and follow up on progress deliverables and delays (if any).
- Ensure effective communication with the line manager.
- Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree. - Experience:
5-8 years.
- Innovative approach to problem solving.
- Self-motivated.
- Team player.
- Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
