Engineer Lead

Overview

Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, integration, testing, operation, and maintenance of Niagara-based Building Management Systems (BMS) including associated software, hardware, and field devices.

• Coordinate with customers, consultants, and contractors for project requirements, site visits, and progress meetings.
• Understand client needs and explain system capabilities and integration options.
• Develop and deploy Niagara stations, logic, and user interfaces according to project specifications.
• Integrate BMS with HVAC, lighting, energy metering, and other building systems.
• Conduct system testing to ensure full operational functionality and performance compliance.
• Ensure project delivery according to timelines and quality standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Niagara-based BMS installations.
• Maintain documentation including system architecture, wiring diagrams, and configuration records.
• Exercise personal duty of care for own and team's health, safety, and welfare.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in BMS engineering with hands‑on Niagara Framework (Niagara 4 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
• Proficiency in Niagara Workbench for programming and commissioning.
• Experience with field devices and control panel wiring in HVAC/BMS applications.
• Ability to integrate third‑party systems into Niagara platforms.
• Good knowledge of HVAC control principles and sequence of operations.
• Ability to read and interpret control drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for diagnosing and resolving BMS‑related issues.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• BE/BTech/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering.
• Niagara Certification (N4 TCP or equivalent) preferred.
