Job Title: Fire Protection Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled Fire Protection Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in fire protection systems and engineering, with a deep understanding of fire safety codes and regulations. This role requires expertise in estimating the costs and resources associated with fire protection systems, including sprinklers, firefighting systems, FM200 systems, fire alarms, and emergency lighting systems.

The Estimation Engineer will work closely with clients, design teams, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely preparation of estimates for fire protection systems in commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review two-dimensional drawings (AutoCAD/PDF format) to understand design specifications.
• Demonstrate expertise in fire protection systems, such as sprinkler systems, firefighting systems, FM200 systems, fire alarm systems, voice evacuation systems, and emergency lighting.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, UAE Fire and Life Safety Codes, and Civil Defense requirements (preferred).
• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Communicate with clients to clarify missing details or resolve discrepancies in provided inputs.
• Coordinate with technical teams to assess design implications and prepare comprehensive quotations.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for equipment, labor, and installation costs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Fire Protection Engineering, providing a strong technical foundation.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection system estimation, with a proven track record in commercial or industrial projects.
• Expertise in estimating fire protection systems, including knowledge of NFPA standards, fire detection, and suppression systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and estimation software to facilitate precise design and planning.
