Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive chemical analysis of raw materials and finished construction products to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Develop and optimize chemical formulations for new construction materials, focusing on enhancing performance, durability, and sustainability.
- Perform quality control testing on cement, concrete, asphalt, coatings, and adhesives, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Investigate material failures and defects using advanced analytical techniques to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related chemical engineering field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in chemical analysis and formulation within the construction materials sector.
- Proficiency in analytical instrumentation such as spectroscopy (AAS, ICP, FTIR), chromatography (GC, HPLC), and wet chemistry techniques.
- Strong understanding of material science principles as applied to cementitious materials, polymers, coatings, and adhesives.
