About the RoleShafa Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our prestigious project in Ethiopia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and control for large-scale infrastructure projects. Offshore and onshore, residential, commercial, and fit‑out projects in GCC or international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain baseline project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project.
- Prepare detailed work programs, resource allocation plans and progress monitoring reports.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, consultants and subcontractors to align with project deliverables.
- Implement cost control, budgeting and forecasting measures.
- Track materials, manpower and equipment to ensure timely project execution.
- Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for project delays.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality and client requirements.
10–15 years in planning and scheduling of large-scale construction projects.
EducationBTech or BE in Civil.
ExpertiseStrong skills in project controls, scheduling, reporting, and forecasting.
Technical KnowledgeIn-depth understanding of civil infra projects, architectural, interior fit‑out, and MEP works.
SkillsExcellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
AvailabilityImmediate joiners preferred (notice period max 20‑30 days).
RelocationWillingness to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project.
