MEP Sr. Estimator

Summary

Responsible for preparation of full estimates on large and complex projects as per received documents and provides complete conceptual and total bid price.

• Review scope of work drawings, specifications, etc. upon receipt of tender documents.
• Prepare tender queries for missing documents/doubts.
• Participate in pre‑tender and post‑tender meetings with clients and consultants.
• Attend pre‑tender and post‑tender meetings and carry out site surveys.
• Coordinate and review the quantities received from Bond International India Office.
• Generate BOQs against drawings.
• Estimate man‑hours, duration and resources required for variation activities.
• Prepare commercial and technical bid proposals.
• Prepare final contract BOQ after discussion with department manager based on agreed contract value.
• Prepare and submit cost comparison sheets for all supply and subcontractor items.
• Carry out value engineering studies and prepare alternative proposals.
• Attend internal kick‑off meetings and hand over all contract documents to the project team.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical.
• 1‑3 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Certification (if applicable).

• Working knowledge of plans, specifications, and schematics.
• Good communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Team player and analytical thinking.
• Positive attitude.
