Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various laser systems for precision cutting, engraving, and marking, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on laser equipment to avoid downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with design teams to interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate laser operation and output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any laser‑related issues, including software malfunctions and hardware failures, in a timely manner.
- Associate’s degree or higher in laser technology, engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in laser safety or operation, such as a Certified Laser Safety Officer (CLSO), is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laser technician role or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CAD software and laser programming is essential for interpreting designs and optimizing laser operations.
