Commissioning Engineer-Fire Alarm

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and provide advice on procedures and documentation.
• Undertake testing and commissioning activities in line with specified site requirements.
• Monitor progress and record all test results.
• Witness final testing and acceptance of equipment, and compile documentation for site tests and handover.
• Ensure safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve required system plant performance per program requirements and specifications.
• Conduct client training on systems at the project location for handover and closure.
• Maintain accurate project records and monitor equipment performance, notifying engineers of recurring issues.
• Ensure uninterrupted system operation and meet project program schedules.
• Log errors and resolutions to prevent system bottlenecks.
• Coordinate materials and maintain operational focus, ensuring direct impact on outcomes within scope and broader operations.

• Excellent knowledge of Fire & Life Safety systems (FAS, VESDA, PAVA, CBS, CMS).
• Excellent team worker.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to work under pressure and proactively resolve issues.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
