Senior Risk Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Senior Risk Engineer to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team supporting hyperscale data center programs across the GCC region with a primary focus on KSA and UAE markets. This role sits at the intersection of complex infrastructure delivery and enterprise risk management, supporting clients from early‑stage planning through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management Framework (RMF) for hyperscale data center programs aligned with PMC delivery requirements and client expectations.
- Lead risk identification workshops with stakeholders, facilitate structured risk registers and maintain live risk logs throughout all project phases.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, Monte Carlo simulations, FMEA, risk scoring matrices for schedule, cost and technical risks across the assigned project(s).
- Develop and track risk mitigation plans, monitor residual risks and elevate critical items to the PMC leadership and client stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Integrate risk outputs with cost management (CAPEX, OPEX and schedule controls), ensuring risk contingency provisions are reflected in project baselines and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain risk dashboards, monthly risk reports and executive briefings for clients and key stakeholders.
- Assess contractual and procurement risks across EPC lump‑sum and remeasurement contracts, advising on risk allocation, insurance requirements and change management implications.
- Interface with technical teams, independent engineers and authority representatives to ensure compliance‑related risks are identified and mitigated.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline). PMP, PMI‑RMP, or equivalent risk/project management certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in risk management roles on large‑scale infrastructure or mission‑critical projects.
- Proven experience developing and managing risk registers, risk management plans, and contingency analysis within a PMC or PMO environment.
- Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis (Pert Master), @RISK, or equivalent; strong command of cost and schedule risk integration.
- Experience working in or with GCC markets (KSA / UAE) and regional regulatory authorities is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present risk findings clearly to senior client stakeholders, C‑suite, and technical teams alike.
- Experience on hyperscaler programs or data center projects.
- Arabic language proficiency (spoken and/or written) is an advantage for stakeholder engagement in KSA/UAE.

In‑depth knowledge of MEP EPC interfaces and mission‑critical systems risk considerations. - Adaptability:
Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, high‑growth GCC project environments with evolving scope and shifting priorities. - Collaborative Mindset:
Works effectively as part of integrated PMC teams, contributing to a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
