Job Description
Stantec is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team for a Sewerage Systems project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical systems within water and wastewater infrastructure, with hands‑on experience in the design and supervision of sewerage networks, sewage treatment plants (STPs), and pumping station facilities.
Qualifications- The candidate must hold a relevant degree from a recognized university and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment and control systems within water infrastructure projects.
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge and hands‑on experience with existing work systems related to DEWA and Dubai Municipality (DM).
- Should have extensive experience working with various types of mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as instrumentation used in sewerage networks, sewage treatment plants (STPs) and pumping stations. Strong knowledge and experience in infrastructure design are also required.
- Must have proven experience in handling emergency works, with the ability to interact with the public and coordinate effectively with Dubai Municipality and other infrastructure authorities.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera (P3).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions.
