Lead Design Engineer – Telecom Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise telecom engineering design activities across projects.
- Review and approve design deliverables, calculations, and drawings for all telecom systems (voice, data, fiber optics, structured cabling, DAS, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, and access control).
- Provide technical guidance to the telecom engineering team and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, client specifications, and international codes.
- Participate in design reviews, site surveys, and vendor evaluations.
- Mentor and support junior engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery of telecom design deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 12–15 years of telecom engineering design experience in Oil & Gas or large EPC projects.
- Experience with ADNOC or Middle East projects is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in telecom design software and tools.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Prepare detailed telecom system designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform calculations, equipment selection, and design verification for voice, data, fiber optics, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling systems.
- Support Lead Engineer in design reviews, vendor coordination, and client meetings.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and client specifications.
- Assist in preparation of technical reports, documentation, and design deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of telecom engineering design experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects.
- Familiarity with ADNOC or Middle East project standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in telecom design software and tools.
- Strong technical knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and effective communication.
