We are seeking a highly skilled EASA B1 A220 Licensed Engineer to join our elite team at Comlux, based in the vibrant city of Dubai. • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on A220 aircraft to ensure compliance with EASA regulations and company standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft systems, including avionics, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance staff to develop and implement effective maintenance plans and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Participate in the development and review of maintenance procedures and technical documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and aviation authorities to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ground crew and other engineering personnel during aircraft maintenance activities.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment used in maintenance activities are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in aviation technology and maintenance practices relevant to the A220 aircraft.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance department by suggesting enhancements to processes and procedures.

• Valid EASA B1 license with type rating on A220 aircraft.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically with VVIP or corporate jets.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems, including avionics, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational demands.

• Experience working with other aircraft types in addition to the A220.
• Previous experience in a VVIP or corporate aviation environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
• Additional certifications or training in specialized areas of aircraft maintenance.
• Multilingual skills, particularly in Arabic or other languages relevant to our clientele.

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software specific to the A220 aircraft.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
• Familiarity with aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Competence in using standard hand tools and specialized equipment for aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics related to aircraft systems.
