This Position reports to:
EL Pricing Manager MEA
Your role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the relevant division/business unit/product group, to maximize profit and market share, while ensuring customer satisfaction with ABB. Each day, you will follow a robust pricing infrastructure and pricing policies to deliver measurable results. You will also showcase your expertise by providing support for developing effective and efficient standards and special pricing strategy in line with the global division strategy, value, competition, and cost/profit.
The work model for the role is: (Onsite/Hybrid)
This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area for Smart Building Division based in Dubai UAE.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Providing support for developing pricing concepts to establish and manage international and/or cross-divisional pricing, such as in-frame agreements and key accounts/ industrial segment requirements, to ensure consistency.
- Sharing knowledge and supporting its application throughout your area of accountability.
- Driving increased profitability through established professional pricing infrastructure.
- Analyzing the international pricing structure and the conditions to calculate profit reserves.
- Bachelors degree in any discipline (Business Administration/Finance / Economics/Mathematics Or Statistics) or any engineering degree.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
- Basic knowledge of data analysis or financial modeling
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus
- Good with numbers and logic
- comfortable with data and making simple reports.
