CFO Assistant Accountant; Russian Speaker

This position is for applicants with knowledge of spoken and written Russian and English.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the CFO in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Assist in the review of expenses, payroll records, and other financial documentation.
• Update and maintain financial data in databases to ensure accuracy.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and submit weekly / monthly reports as required by the CFO.
• Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide support in other accounting projects and tasks as assigned by the CFO.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a junior accountant
• Russian and English (B2)
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)
• BSc / Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field
