Milliman’s Dubai Practice is looking for an Actuarial Analyst. You will be working with some of the most experienced, capable people in the health industry. You will support the development and delivery of a diverse range of consulting activities across multiple countries in the Middle East, including pricing and reserving; development and review of mandatory benefit packages; and implementation of value-based reimbursement mechanisms, including DRGs.

Key Responsibilities- Perform actuarial analysis and modelling on healthcare data.
- Development and analysis of experience studies and actuarial assumptions.
- Write reports that explain technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience.
- Prepare and present results and recommendations to clients for consideration.
- Liaise with key client contacts to obtain required data and information to deliver project requirements.
- Support other actuarial students in the completion of technical aspects of actuarial projects.
- Ensure adherence to Milliman’s policies and processes throughout all activities.
- An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative coursework.
- Associate or Part-qualified actuary, with strong progress with Actuarial exams.
- Outstanding academic record.
- Strong IT skills particularly in MS Office (Excel, Power point, etc.) and any statistical analysis tools (SAS, SQL, R, etc).
- Minimum of 1‑3 years of actuarial experience with a substantial part of the experience in health‑related work.
- Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability.
- Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated individual with a sense of intellectual curiosity and a results‑oriented work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
