Finance Director - Mining & Food Distribution

Apt Resources is searching for a dynamic and experienced Finance Director to lead the financial operations within a leading company in the Mining and Food Distribution sectors. This key leadership role will focus on optimizing financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic initiatives across both industries.

• Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals in both mining and food distribution sectors
• Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
• Analyze financial data and generate reports that provide insights into operational performance
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risks to ensure the company's financial health
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards across both industries
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/ACCA preferred).
• Proven senior-level finance leadership experience, ideally in the mining sector or related industries.
• Exposure to or interest in the food distribution/FMCG industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple industries with agility and strategic focus.
• Strong communication skills in English;
  Portuguese or French would be an asset.
• Extensive experience with SAP

Salary: USD 5 to 7k depending on experience Net aftertaxdeductions
