Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Finance Manager to oversee our company's financial health and operations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and managing financial strategies, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, producing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to guide the finance team and provide critical financial insights to senior management to support long‑term business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process in collaboration with department heads.
  • Develop, maintain, and update rolling financial forecasts and long‑term financial models.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis of actuals against budget and forecast.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive business performance and growth.
Accounting & Operations
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including the month‑end and year‑end close processes, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Manage and monitor the company's cash flow, preparing regular cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures to mitigate risk.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Coordinate and manage all audit activities, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns and other statutory reporting.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and market risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize finance department processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to support their financial needs and ensure company‑wide financial alignment.
Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
    • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
    • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Net Suite) and financial management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant).

Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager.
  • Experience in finance software systems is a MUST.
  • Food and Beverages experience is a MUST.
  • Must be resident in Dubai.
  • Any Nationality.
  • Max age 40.
