• The tax team advises on the tax aspects of domestic and international transactions, including:
  Structured real estate transactions
• M&A, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations
• Funds (including hedge, debt, real estate, and other asset classes)
• International tax structures and cross-border planning
• Structured finance and capital markets
• Insolvency, workouts, and restructuring
• VAT and other indirect tax issues

• Broad corporate tax experience gained at a City firm or large regional practice
• Exposure to real estate tax and taxation of corporate transactions (advantageous but not essential)
• Additional experience in fund taxation or taxation of financial transactions is welcome
• Strong commercial awareness and intellectual curiosity
• Confidence in engaging directly with clients
• Ability to work independently while recognising when input is required
• Willingness to challenge conventional thinking
• Clear, concise communication skills
• Adaptability and a flexible approach to workload
