Our platform allows immigrants to send money home instantly and with no fee, saving users billions in conversion costs.

Taptap Send is seeking an AML Analyst (full‑time, based in Casablanca). You will report directly to the MLRO and work closely with our Heads of Compliance and the wider financial crime team to implement the compliance and fraud program for our global business.

• Using a combination of our technology and third‑party software to evaluate transactions that are high‑risk for money laundering.
• Reviewing potentially sanctioned customers or recipients and reviewing customers that might be politically exposed.
• Establishing rapport with customers involved in investigations.
• Escalating cases from our Customer Service department and from the fraud team as needed.
• Escalating suspicious activity to the MLROs and rationalising/defending decisions when requested.
• Performing diligence on customers to fully understand their identity and risk profile.
• Assisting and responding to information requests from local authorities.
• Supporting our counter‑fraud team on an ad‑hoc basis.

• Good understanding of general AML legislation and regulations.
• 1+ years of experience in a regulated financial institution in a compliance or compliance‑related role, ideally within a startup fintech or remittance environment.
• Interest in using technology to address fraud and compliance issues.
• Experience with compliance systems (transaction monitoring, sanction screening, etc.).
• Attention to detail while maintaining a big‑picture perspective.
• Initiative to work independently and pursue thorough analysis.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly express opinions and concerns.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in English (required) and one additional language (ideally French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Italian, Arabic or Portuguese). Knowledge of languages spoken by our communities is a bonus.
