Anti- Laundering Officer

SELECTED is working with a well-established global organisation in Dubai that is expanding its compliance and risk function. We are currently hiring an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer / AML Officer to take ownership of the firm’s AML framework, reporting obligations and regulatory compliance.

This is a senior, business critical role that will suit someone confident operating as the main point of contact with regulators while embedding best practice AML controls across the organisation.

• Act as the appointed MLRO for the UAE entity and primary liaison with local regulators
• Design, implement and maintain the company’s AML and financial crime framework
• Oversee suspicious transaction monitoring, investigations and regulatory reporting
• Ensure ongoing compliance with UAE AML laws, FATF guidelines and international standards
• Conduct enterprise-wide AML risk assessments and update policies and procedures accordingly
• Lead internal AML audits, control testing and remediation plans
• Deliver AML training to staff and senior leadership
• Provide clear guidance to business units on compliance matters and emerging regulatory risks
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors and external advisors

• Proven experience as MLRO or Senior AML / Compliance Officer within financial services, fintech, banking or a regulated environment
• Deep understanding of UAE AML legislation and international compliance frameworks
• Strong background in regulatory reporting and financial crime risk management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Relevant compliance certifications highly preferred
