Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven
Accountant
with proven UAE experience to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will bring5+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting
, with at least3 years focused on VAT filing and compliance
, and solid exposure to the evolving landscape of
corporate tax in the UAE
. Proficiency in
Zoho
and a mindset rooted in
critical and logical thinking
are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records in
  Zoho
  and ensure smooth daily accounting operations.
• Prepare, review, and file
  VAT returns
  in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Assist in the implementation and ongoing management of
  corporate tax frameworks
  , including documentation and reporting.(mandatory)
• Analyze financial data and present actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Identify and solve discrepancies with a logical, analytical approach.
• Stay updated on changes in UAE tax laws and accounting standards.
• Ad-hoc tasks and assist with office duties
