Group Internal Sharia Audit – Treasury & Investment & Finance Sharia Audit

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Treasury & Investment & Finance Sharia to join the Group Internal Sharia Audit function. The role is responsible for providing independent Sharia assurance over treasury, investment, and finance activities, ensuring full compliance with Sharia principles, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct Sharia audits for treasury, investment, and finance activities in line with approved Sharia standards and internal audit methodologies.
• Review products, transactions, contracts, and processes to ensure Sharia compliance.
• Prepare audit plans, working papers, findings, and reports with clear recommendations.
• Liaise with business units, Sharia Supervisory Boards, and senior management to discuss audit observations and corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of Sharia audit recommendations and follow up on remediation actions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of Sharia audit frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on developments in Islamic finance, Sharia standards, and regulatory guidelines.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sharia Auditor
  , preferably covering treasury, investment, and finance activities.
• CSAA (Certified Sharia Adviser and Auditor) or an equivalent recognized Sharia certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic finance principles, Sharia governance frameworks, and AAOIFI standards.
• Proven experience in internal Sharia audit within Islamic banks, financial institutions, or audit/consulting firms.

• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide clear Sharia guidance.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and professional judgment.
