Venture Search is partnered with a globally recognised proprietary crypto-native high-frequency trading firm. With a strong track record of innovation and performance across digital asset markets, this firm operates at the forefront of algorithmic and quantitative trading. As part of its continued growth, the firm is looking to expand its trading team in Dubai.

The Role

They are seeking a Crypto Quantitative Trader, a high-calibre professional with proven experience in designing, executing, and scaling HFT quantitative strategies in crypto or traditional markets. This role offers the chance to take ownership of trading strategies from day one, working with top-tier infrastructure and a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Trading Strategies:
  Design and manage high-frequency or systematic strategies across global crypto markets
• Execution and Optimisation:
  Monitor and fine‑tune live trading systems to maximise alpha and minimise latency or slippage
• Data-Driven R&D:
  Leverage large-scale data to backtest, validate, and improve existing and new trading models
• Collaborate Across Functions:
  Work closely with quant researchers, developers, and infrastructure teams to maintain robust and scalable systems
• Risk & Capital Management:
  Monitor exposure and performance metrics; make informed decisions on capital allocation and risk parameters
• Mentorship & Leadership:
  Help develop junior traders and researchers by sharing best practices, tools, and market knowledge

Requirements:

• Experience:
  
  3+ years in a quantitative or algorithmic trading role (crypto, FX, equities, or other HFT/market-making environments)
• Technical Proficiency:
  Strong coding skills in Python, C++, or a similar language used in trading environments
• Market Knowledge:
  Deep understanding of market microstructure, execution systems, and trading technologies
• Analytical Excellence:
  Demonstrated ability to analyse large datasets, generate insights, and apply them in real-time trading decisions
• Ownership Mentality:
  Track record of end-to-end strategy ownership and a performance-driven mindset
• Team Player:
  Collaborative spirit with clear and concise communication skills
• Location:
  
  Willingness to relocate to Dubai and operate in a high-speed, high-growth international setting
• Crypto Edge:
  Direct experience in crypto markets is a strong advantage, though not required for candidates with transferable skills
