Assistant Manager - Capital and Liquidity Management
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President – Capital & Liquidity Management, this role collaborates closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Data Management teams. The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Bank’s capital and liquidity management strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing- Preparing and submitting capital adequacy reports to CBUAE (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Supporting capital strategy development and optimization
- Conducting stress testing and scenario analysis
- Preparing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual liquidity reports
- Conducting scenario analysis to evaluate liquidity impacts
- Responding to CBUAE information requests
- Creating detailed reports and presentations for senior management and board
- Analyzing financial data to support strategic decisions
- Driving process improvements in reporting and analytics
- Enhancing MIS and operational processes related to capital and liquidity
- Promoting a high‑performance culture within the Finance team
- Staying abreast of regulatory changes and assessing their impact
- Performing other duties and preparing ad hoc reports as required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fields
- Professional certifications (PMP, CPA, CFA, FRM, MBA) are a plus
- 3–5 years in Finance, Treasury, Risk, or Compliance roles
- 5–8 years of total professional experience
- Banking or financial services experience preferred
- Familiarity with CBUAE and BIS regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical and presentation capabilities
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (CBUAE/BIS)
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau; working knowledge of VBA/SQL
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
