About the Job:We are seeking a Head of Dealing Department to oversee daily execution activity and ensure stable trading operations across a crypto exchange. This role is well suited to a hands-on, mid-level professional with direct experience in exchange execution and market operations.
The position works closely with senior leadership, including the CEO and CTO, on execution quality, liquidity coordination, and overall market stability.
Responsibilities:- Lead daily dealing and execution activities across all active markets
- Monitor spreads, order-book depth, and liquidity for each trading pair
- Coordinate with market makers and ensure expected performance levels
- Monitor unusual trading patterns and escalation issues when required
- Support compliance by providing inputs for trade surveillance and reporting
- Collaborate with technology teams during incidents to restore normal trading
- Prepare daily and weekly dealing and execution reports for senior management
- Improve dealing procedures, controls, and workflows as trading activity grows
- Support new asset listings from an execution and liquidity perspective
- Align with risk teams on trading limits and exposure monitoring
- 3–5 years of experience in a dealing, execution, or trading operations role within a crypto exchange
- Strong understanding of order books, matching engines, and crypto market structure
- Experience using market data tools and execution dashboards
- Prior experience working with market makers is preferred
- Strong communication skills with high attention to detail
- AED 30,000 – 45,000 per month
