Head of Client Accounting

Our client is looking for a Head of Client Accounting, you will lead the client accounting function, ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong internal controls, and exceptional client satisfaction. This role combines strategic oversight, team leadership, and hands‑on client management within a regulated, fast‑paced environment.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the client accounting function, setting clear objectives and performance frameworks
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all accounting, tax, and reporting activities
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, quality standards, and governance frameworks
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve business processes, policies, and standard operating procedures
• Manage departmental budgets, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to financial controls
• Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams through clear KPIs, performance reviews, and training plans
• Oversee audit processes, address findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
• Manage a portfolio of premium clients and act as a senior escalation point for complex issues
• Ensure all client services comply with relevant regulations, legislation, and compliance requirements
• Drive a customer‑centric culture focused on service quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with sales and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal resource utilization
• Coordinate with authorities and external stakeholders to resolve client and operational matters
• Ensure timely completion of renewals, deliverables, and statutory deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA is an advantage
• Significant experience in client accounting, operations, or professional services within the UAE
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and tax computations
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent understanding of quality standards, compliance, and regulatory environments
• Strong client relationship management and customer service expertise
• Proficiency in English or Arabic is an advantage.
