Head of Fiat

We are a leading global crypto exchange with a global licensing footprint and strong growth momentum. As part of our next phase of expansion, we are hiring a Head of Fiat to oversee and scale our global fiat business, with a strong emphasis on operations, execution, and infrastructure build-out
.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has deep fiat/payment operations expertise
, has led large teams
, and can operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels in a fast‑moving, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end‑to‑end fiat business
  , with primary accountability for operational excellence, stability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Lead and scale large, cross‑functional fiat operations teams across regions.
• Oversee and manage merchant partnerships
  , including onboarding, integration, performance management, and issue resolution.
• Drive API integrations with payment partners, PSPs, banks, and external vendors.
• Manage and optimise fiat on/off‑ramp operations
  , including third‑party fiat service providers and fiat outsourcing models.
• Build and expand card payment channels (debit/credit cards) and alternative payment methods.
• Establish and deepen banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring operational robustness and compliance alignment.
• Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Product, Tech, and Finance teams to ensure fiat flows meet regulatory, risk, and user experience requirements.
• Continuously improve processes, SLAs, controls, and cost efficiency across the fiat stack.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in payments, banking, fintech, or crypto
  , with a strong focus on fiat/payment operations
  .
• Prior experience at a top‑tier crypto exchange is required, with direct ownership of fiat, payments, or related operational functions.
• Proven experience leading large teams (regional or global), with strong people management and execution capabilities.
• Deep understanding of payment rails
  , card networks, banking integrations, PSPs, and merchant acquiring.
• Hands‑on experience with API‑based integrations and operational payment workflows.
• Experience working in regulated environments
  ; crypto exchange or digital asset experience is a strong plus.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with external partners, banks, and internal senior leadership.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑growth, high‑accountability environment.
