Director of Finance in the Finance Department

Industry: Government Administration and Investment Management

• Take ownership of all finance and accounting processes, including ledger management, consolidation, month‑end/year‑end close, and management reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Design, document, and implement standard finance processes.
• Lead ERP/system implementation, ensuring standardisation and automation across operations.
• Maintain transparent, audit‑ready financial records and reporting processes.
• Analyse performance to inform strategic decision‑making and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and teams to support investment readiness and capital planning.

• 8+ years in finance, corporate finance, or financial management, ideally with experience in building or improving finance functions.
• Proven track record in financial leadership, process design, and reporting frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion or a similar large ERP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial modelling, analysis, and scenario planning skills.
• Structured, process‑oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of leading change and embedding new processes.

• Preference will be given to candidates available immediately.
