Business Management Support Manager; UAE National

The mandate of the Principal Investments Desk is to manage Emirates Islamic and Dubai Bank’s holdings in Shari’ah compliant equities for proprietary purposes plus its participations in externally managed Investment Funds from various Alternative Asset Class like Real Estate, sector focused banking, alternative energy funds etc. The Desk also manages certain legacy sukuk/instruments investments which are on a rundown mode or are involved in litigation over recovery of the investment.

The job holder has responsibility to manage the PI Desk along with the activities of BMS Desk, below are the primary responsibilities of the job holder on both the desks:

• Handling all the existing relationships for Funds and Equities.
• Good services to customers & minimal response time for queries and proper actions.
• Playing a key role in handling issues related to customer-disputes especially in relation to India assets.
• Visiting/ meeting clients within UAE and Abroad.
• Attending AGMs/ EGMs/ Seminars/ and Conferences.
• Handling detailed Investment portfolio reports and updating the Investment pack quarterly to MIC.
• Handling monthly FID report.
• Handling all other irregular reports related to Funds and Equities.
• Point of contact for Treasury documents such as ISDA / CSA / GMRA / Custody / DDM’s / Islamic agreements. Maintain centralized database of the signed Agreements, accessible to all Sales, Trading and ALM personnel. Filling in details for ISDA on behalf of the corporate clients.
• Liaise with CRAD to ensure corporate customer are KYC compliant. Co-ordinate with various counter parties, business units, compliance and legal depts. etc. for Agreements.
• Ensure KYC is in place for DVP counter parties.
• Assist in the Broker sign off process.
• Ensure all new joiners sign off the Dealer Code of Ethics
• Co-ordinate with Treasury Finance and Op. Risk for booking of losses in the Operational Risk system.
• Reporting of Key Risk Indicators

• UAE Nationals will only be considered
• Good knowledge in Treasury related products and services plus knowledge in all banking products and services.
• Project and capacity planning experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills including using Excel
• Knowledge of ISDA/CSA treasury legal documentation.
• Ability to understand the impact and the negotiation skills without adding risk to the bank.
• Time Management skills ensuring delivery times achieved
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
