About the roleWe're looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead our financial operations and reporting across four countries – UAE, KSA, India, and Singapore. This is a critical role where you'll manage multi-entity accounting, establish robust financial controls across different regulatory environments, and partner closely with leadership to support strategic decision-making. You'll be joining at an exciting inflection point – we're profitable, growing rapidly, and building the financial infrastructure to support our next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities- Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across all four entities (UAE, KSA, India, Singapore)
- Prepare consolidated and entity-level financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements
- Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and transfer pricing documentation
- Lead external audit processes across multiple jurisdictions and manage relationships with local auditors and tax advisors
- Ensure compliance with UAE, KSA, India, and Singapore financial regulations, including VAT, GST, and corporate tax requirements
- Oversee statutory reporting obligations in each jurisdiction
- Develop and maintain comprehensive consolidated financial reporting packages for investors and the board
- Design, implement, and continuously improve internal controls and financial policies across all entities
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions across four jurisdictions
- Manage multi-currency cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization
- Coordinate with local finance teams or bookkeepers in each country
- Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools that support multi-entity operations
- Ensure proper revenue recognition processes aligned with fintech business models across different markets
- Manage foreign exchange risk and intercompany settlements
- Partner with leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
- Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs
- Support pricing analysis, unit economics modeling, and profitability assessments
- Drive month-end variance analysis and communicate key insights to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA qualification strongly preferred
- 3-5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior finance role
- Deep expertise in IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and tax compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions (UAE, KSA, India, Singapore experience highly valued)
- Experience managing intercompany transactions, consolidations, and transfer pricing
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software;
Net Suite, Quick Books, Xero, or similar - Proven track record of building and scaling financial operations in high-growth environments.
- Previous experience in fintech, SaaS, or payments companies
- Experience working with venture-backed startups or scale-ups
