Assistant Manager - Finance Reporting and PMO

We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager – Statutory & MIS Reporting who will be responsible for preparing and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of statutory financial statements and MIS reports for our client based in Dubai which is one of the largest companies in the region
.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Manager – Statutory & MIS Reporting about the financial reporting & accounting standards. You should also have experience in statutory reporting and possess in depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant finance reporting standards.

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS 15.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and variance analysis to support the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS packs, dashboards and performance reports for senior management and business heads
• Assist in the interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards and regulations.
• Act as PMO for finance-related projects
  , ensuring timelines, deliverables, and reporting are on track.
• Support tax-related activities including VAT, VAT refunds, and related processes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Tax, and Audit teams.
• Track project plans, risks, actions, and dependencies.
• Prepare status reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Support audit-related requirements and coordination.
• Ensure proper documentation of processes and project updates.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in statutory & MIS reporting, preferably within a multinational organization or a public accounting/audit firm.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
