ECOVIS JRB Chartered Accountants is seeking a technically sound VAT Tax Senior to support our growing tax advisory and compliance portfolio.
This role is suited to professionals with solid UAE VAT exposure and practical experience within a consulting environment.
This is not a managerial role — we are looking for a strong execution-level senior who can independently handle assigned clients and technical matters.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- Handling FTA portal submissions and correspondence
- Supporting advisory assignments under supervision
- Managing client communication on routine tax matters
- Maintaining compliance calendars and documentation
- Minimum 10 years total experience
- Minimum 3 years UAE experience in VAT (mandatory)
- Experience with in a CA / consulting firm environment
- Comfortable handling FTA correspondence independently
- Strong documentation and technical drafting skills
- Ability to manage timelines without supervision
- Strong compliance foundation with developing advisory exposure
- Technically sound but execution-focused
- Organized, process-driven, and client-responsive
- Not currently at managerial designation level
