Relationship Manager – Financial Institutions (FI)
Location: Dubai
This role is strictly open to UAE Nationals only.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager – Financial Institutions to manage and grow a portfolio of Bank/FI clients. The ideal candidate must have prior experience as an FI Relationship Manager and should currently manage their own portfolio.
The role involves overseeing client relationships, conducting country and credit risk analysis, and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s risk management framework and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and expand relationships with targeted Financial Institution (FI) clients.
- Oversee a portfolio of FI – Bank customers, ensuring revenue growth and portfolio quality.
- Prepare, review, and submit credit applications and renewal requests in line with the Bank’s credit risk policies.
- Conduct detailed country and FI credit analysis in accordance with the Bank’s risk framework.
- Engage regularly with clients through meetings, visits, and strategic discussions to strengthen partnerships.
- Identify client needs and propose appropriate banking products and solutions in collaboration with internal product teams.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and back-office teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Monitor market, industry, and regulatory developments impacting FI clients and share insights internally.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer documentation, compliance records, and legal files.
- Support and mentor junior team members, including Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs), to enhance team performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Management (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of banking experience
, with at least 5 years as an FI Relationship Manager managing international FI relationships. - Proven experience handling and developing an independent FI portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, credit analysis, and risk management.
