Senior Fund Controller

A fast-growing private equity firm is looking to hire a Senior Fund Controller to work closely with the CFO and Investment team.

This is a commercial role with broad responsibility across fund finance, operations, and reporting, giving you real influence on how the platform scales as assets and complexity increase. The role suits someone who enjoys being close to deals, investors, and decision‑making rather than operating purely as a back‑office function.

• Act as the senior lead for fund finance and operational delivery across private equity and private credit structures
• Oversee fund administrators to ensure high-quality, timely delivery across NAVs, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
• Partner closely with the Investment team on deal execution, valuations, and portfolio monitoring
• Lead on fund structuring, new vehicle launches, and system/process improvements
• Provide senior support on audits, tax coordination, and multi‑jurisdictional reporting
• Serve as a key point of contact for investor and internal stakeholder queries
• Support the CFO on strategic initiatives, governance, and scaling the finance function

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Around 10 years’ post‑qualification experience
• Strong background in private equity or private markets fund finance
• Hands‑on experience with closed‑ended fund structures
• Commercial mindset with confidence, working alongside senior investment professionals
• Comfortable in fast‑moving, growth‑oriented environments
