Our Boutique Investment Client in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join its growing organisation.
Responsibilities- To ensure that a company's internal controls are adequate, appropriate and in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies.
- To ensure that all financial reports comply with the relevant accounting standards, such as IFRS, IAS, etc., and presented in a strict timely manner.
- To analyse financial statements and advise top leadership on investments and expense‑saving initiatives.
- Professional Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or a CPA).
- At least 5 years of experience in Senior position in a large Public Accounting Firm, preferably the Big 4, or a large multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Financial Reporting standards, such as IFRS, IAS and/or GAAP.
- Experience in Financial Reporting for large multinational corporations, including consolidation and combination reporting.
- Good knowledge in investments and capital markets, both in UAE and Globally.
- Ideally Arabic Speaking.
