Vice President, Trade Operations - UAEN

The incumbent will manage the local Trade team in and manage the budget in line with the approved financials, meet various stakeholders from Business on periodic basis as Trade representative, track the productivity of Trade teams and suggest improvements/ideas.

• Manage the Trade Team locally.
• To track, manage the local Trade budget and closely monitor financials to ensure the same is within the yearly targets.
• Manage the relationship with Business stakeholders for all business lines (Corporate and Investment Banking, Financial Institutions, Retail Banking and Transaction Banking) and meet them periodically to track and address concerns related to Trade in onshore and offshore.
• Arrange and chair periodic calls with Rep offices to address issues/concerns related to operations.
• Regularly track productivity and SPTs of all Trade processes and suggest improvements/ideas for process improvements to bring in reduced TATs for end customers.
• Represent Trade along with respective managers in International Banking monthly Governance calls held by Country Ops Managers.
• Represent Trade Operations in meetings with Local Country Regulators and Central Bank officials during their visits for Trade.

• Graduate with a thorough business understanding of Trade Finance products and functions.
• Understanding of Trade Finance and Financial Operating Systems.
• Minimum of 20+ years’ experience in Banking and Trade Finance with at least 12 years of Managing Teams.
