The Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision‑making across the business. This role requires strong foundational finance knowledge, excellent analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to translate financial insights into meaningful business recommendations. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare periodic Balance Sheet reconciliations and Profit & Loss analyses with high accuracy.
  • Perform in‑depth variance analysis to identify key business drivers, trends, and operational insights.
  • Analyze revenue and expense trends using advanced Excel models, charts, and visual dashboards.
  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and attendance reports in line with DHE and Merlin reporting standards.
  • Support the month‑end close process and contribute to management reporting packages, utilizing Excel macros, Power Query, and automated formulas.
  • Monitor revenue performance across all streams, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to support operational decision‑making with financial insight.
Business Intelligence & Data Tools
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, macros) to streamline reporting and data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize KPIs, financial trends, and operational performance.
  • Use VGS (Visionary General System) for financial reporting, revenue extraction, reconciliation, and data validation across multiple sources.
  • Maintain and update revenue databases and revenue management systems to ensure data integrity.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnership
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling monthly forecasts
    , ensuring timely data collection and validation.
  • Partner with operational departments to ensure accurate and timely submission of inputs for financial planning.
  • Provide clear, insightful explanations of financial results to both finance and non‑finance teams.
Process Improvement & Projects
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements yielding measurable benefits.
  • Participate in or lead assigned projects related to financial systems, reporting enhancements, and process optimization.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
Health & Safety

Managers/Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their department, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it.

They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business or closely related field

Required Experience:

  • 5-6 years financial analysis experience, preferably in the Theme park & Hospitality industry
  • Sound knowledge of Power BI, Excel for Apps, Experience in Ticketing Software (preferably VGS), Micros
  • Experience in Oracle Fusion preferred
