Trader - Petroleum Products

We are looking to hire an experienced Trader to build and manage a petroleum products trading portfolio. This role is ideal for professionals who deeply understand products, blending, arbitrage, and logistics
, and who have hands on exposure to storage terminals, tankage, and execution.

• Strong experience across both buy-side and sell-side trading
  .
• Background in downstream oil & gas (must-have).
• Solid understanding of blending
  , product quality, and specifications.
• Exposure to trade execution linked to storage terminals / tank farms (a strong plus).
• Hands-on experience in physical trading
  , not just paper trading.
• Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of logistics, arbitrage, and infrastructure-driven trading
  .
• Experience in India, East Africa, or GCC markets is preferred.

• Build, trade, and manage a physical trading book for petroleum products.
• Identify and execute arbitrage opportunities by optimizing price differentials, logistics, storage, and timing.
• Leverage company-owned storage, tankage, and infrastructure to support trading growth and operational flexibility.
• Monitor open trading positions daily in line with risk management and credit exposure limits

• Structure and execute hedging strategies using futures and derivatives to mitigate market and price risks.
• Maintain a strong understanding of product specifications, quality control, and blending economics

• Continuously assess market conditions, pricing structures, and regional trade flows
  .
• Drive the expansion of the trading desk in terms of volume, geography, and profitability
  .
• Coordinate quotations, confirmations, contracts, and documentation with legal and operations teams.
• Prepare and present short- and long-term market forecasts for management.
