Description
Milliman’s Dubai Health Practice is looking for an actuarial professional with more than 6 years of experience, who has a strong desire to expand their actuarial skills, is committed to obtaining Fellowship, and has a career goal of becoming an actuarial consultant.
Educational Requirements- An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative coursework.
- A minimum of 10 actuarial exams with a recognized professional actuarial organization – preferably Associate level reached.
- Outstanding academic record.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
- Minimum 6 years of actuarial experience, with at least part of the experience in health-related work.
- Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability.
- Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products.
- Working knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems, such as utilisation vs cost, clinical coding systems, Diagnosis-Related Groupers, value-based healthcare, etc.
- Client facing experience, including drafting and reviewing of formal actuarial reports as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal).
- Good organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
