Senior Investment Analyst

• Analyse, and Support investments performance and evaluation reports to support senior member of the team to recommend respective actions to management
• Support the monitoring of the performance of portfolio companies and recommend corrective actions
• Play a critical role in conducting in-depth research and analysis to support investment decision-making.
• Responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize investment outcomes.

Investment Research and Analysis:

Perform financial analysis, cash flow, debt and equity financial modelling, and analysis of project budgets for assets in various portfolios.

Support senior team members in completion of due diligence activities within promised time frames and approved schedule.

Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on various investment opportunities, including equities, fixed income & alternative investments.

Analysing financial information relating to the companies they are researching, e.g. a new set of accounts, profit and loss and cash flow statements.

Combines and prepares spreadsheets, reports, and analyses.

Research and develop in-depth knowledge in industrial sector or a geographical area, in order to make informed recommendations to management.

Assist in the evaluation of economic conditions and overall portfolio positions;

Involvement in all aspects of the transaction process including sourcing, analysis and execution of investment opportunities across sectors and asset classes including due diligence, financial modelling, deal structuring and negotiation and creation of all investment committee materials

Portfolio Performance Monitoring:

Underwrite and conduct analysis of acquisitions and potential development of new projects through valuation, financial modelling, market research, and portfolio analysis.

Keeping up to date with market developments and all that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries, political events.

Understanding of the market landscape for the Investment portfolio specifically focused on competitive information, market data, technical developments and key trends, opportunities, and threats.

Monitoring the financial news using specialist media sources.

Secure future value-based development opportunities for the Investments and prepares feasibility studies.

Monitor the performance of assigned investment portfolios, analyzing key performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement. Assess portfolio risk and performance attribution, and provide recommendations for portfolio rebalancing or adjustments to optimize returns and align with clients' investment objectives.

Interpreting of financial information, company accounts, statistics, economics, political events and their implications on investment decisions.

Investment Reporting and Communication:

Prepare investment reports, presentations, and investment commentaries for internal stakeholders and clients. Clearly communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights to senior management & portfolio manager

• Educational Qualifications and
  
  Certifications:
  
  University Degree in Finance, Economics, or related major.
  
  CFA designation is preferred.
• Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Capital Market processes & procedures.

• Experience :
  Minimum of 4-6 years as an Investment Analyst or similar role, with a strong track record of analysing investments and generating investment recommendations.
