Accounts and Admin Manager for Real Estate Developer

Job Description:

Accounts and Admin Manager position is key to maintaining accurate accounting and financial records, internal control, receivable / payables management and supporting the overall operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the books, records, and accounts are maintained accurately and fairly reflect the company's transactions.
  • Be proficient and have a strong grip on the Leasing and Real Estate Sales operation of the company.
  • Implement proper internal control in liaising with FD for the timely collection of sales and rental income.
  • Manage the payables of the company and ensure payments are processed in time with proper process.
  • Monthly chiller collection and generate proper reports highlighting any deviation.
  • Ensure that the payment of commission to the outside broker and the internal sales team is paid correctly as per company policy.
  • Be well‑versed with AML compliance, escrow account operation, bank reconciliation and VAT requirements and coordinate with FD for timely information/report in this regard.
  • Co‑ordinate with the Leasing team to renew or create new leasing contracts in time, including inter‑company, as per the rent approved by management.
  • Review occupancy reports periodically, minimise vacancy by taking corrective action and highlight long‑vacant units and delays in renewal of tenancy contracts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with prior experience in the Real Estate industry being advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AML and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
